Julia's Joy Voice Idol Pop Song Competition
Talented Tweens and Teens will Compete!

Pillars of Light and Love is hosting our 7th Julia's Joy Voice Idol Competition as one of our Youth Empowerment programs created in memory of Julia Morath. Julia unfortunately chose suicide in 2017 after a bullying incident. In her name we created the Julia's Joy program to support teens through the challenges of adolescence and help them find their joy in life in honor of Julia.
Contestants auditioned in October and have been receiving free vocal and performance coaching since November. They are ready to have fun and compete in this pop song competition to showcase their talent! There will be a panel of judges and the 5 top contestants in each age category, 11-14 and 15-18, will be chosen at the end of the first show on February 2nd and they will go on to the Finale on February 23rd. We will be returning to The Verge Church on Route 113 in Trappe. Thanks to our sponsors, the winner in each category will receive $500.00!
